Privacy Policy
How 13 Trick Card Game handles your data — no accounts, scores stay in your browser, and Google Analytics runs only with your consent.
Last updated: 8 October 2026
The short version
13 Trick Card Game is a free rules guide and scorekeeper. There are no user accounts. The scorekeeper runs entirely in your browser: player names and scores you enter are kept in the page's memory only, are never sent to us, and are cleared when you reload or close the page.
If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to count visits anonymously. You can change that choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
What we collect
- Hosting logs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any website, Cloudflare processes basic request data (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to deliver pages and protect the site against abuse.
- Preferences. Your language choice may be stored in a cookie (
PARAGLIDE_LOCALE), and your light/dark theme choice and your cookie choice in your browser's local storage, so the site remembers them. These contain no personal information. - Messages you send us. If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you provide and use them only to reply.
- Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, for anonymous, aggregated visit statistics: which pages are viewed, roughly which country visitors come from, and which device and browser they use. See the next section for how consent works.
Google Analytics and your consent
Google Analytics runs only on 13trickcardgame.com and uses Google Consent Mode:
- Before you choose, or if you click Reject, analytics and advertising storage are denied. Google Analytics sets no cookies and sends only cookieless signals without an identifier.
- If you click Accept, Google Analytics may set first-party cookies named
_gaand_ga_<ID>(kept for up to 2 years). They hold a random identifier, not your name or email address. - Advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalisation stay denied either way. We do not use advertising cookies.
Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage (cookie-consent), so the banner does not reappear on every page.
Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Google processes the statistics it receives under its own terms; see how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
How to change your choice
- Click Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to reopen the banner, then choose Accept or Reject. The new choice applies straight away.
- Clearing this site's data in your browser removes the saved choice, and the banner will ask again on your next visit.
- You can also block cookies in your browser settings or install Google's opt-out add-on. The rules and scorekeeper work the same either way.
What we don't do
- We do not sell or rent personal information.
- We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- We do not ask for or store accounts, passwords or payment details.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site uses data, we will update this page and the date at the top first.
